In 2017, again about 200 participants are expected to attend the colloquium. The event will join scientific and industrial decision-makers for the 22nd time. The focus of the first day will be on bulk metal forming, whereas the agenda for the second day will concentrate on sheet metal forming.
The key aspects of both days will be "Innovative Processes and Machines for Sheet Metal and Bulk Metal Forming", "Process Design and Optimization" as well as "Production of High-Performance Hybrid Components". A guided tour of the institute and an accompanying poster session will complete the agenda.
Programme and registration form can be found on the website www.hff-hannover.de/ukh2017.html. Please note the early bird fees available until 10 December 2016.
The colloquium is hosted by the Hannover Research Institute for Manufacturing Issues (Hannoversches Forschungsinstitut für Fertigungsfragen e.V., HFF) and the Institute of Forming Technology and Machines (Institut für Umformtechnik und Umformmaschinen, IFUM), both headed by Professor Bernd-Arno Behrens. The venue is the Maritim Airport Hotel Hannover.
