Hannover Messe 2016: Trying out Industry 4.0

PZH/IPH | At Hannover Messe, the Industry 4.0 Competence Centre Hannover “Mit uns digital! Das Zentrum für Niedersachsen und Bremen” presents know-how for small and medium-sized enterprises in Lower Saxony. In Pavilion 36, the Robotation Academy hosts an interactive learning platform where visitors can discover a networked digital factory.

"Our aim is to give small and medium-sized enterprises an understanding of the practical benefits of networked digital factories", explains Karl Doreth, Managing Director of the Centre. "Ten Learning Factories are currently under development. Our flagship is the General Factory in the Robotation Academy."
In the academy, visitors can design their own product and keep its track from design to manufacture. At different stands in the exhibition halls, they can configure on tablets their personal ball pen. In the General Factory, the product is then assembled from tailored components.
Visitors can select preset shapes and colours of the caps and even design certain elements individually, for example the grab handle. Create your own ball pen: in Hall 6, Stand D36, in Hall 2, Stand A08 or in Hall 2, Stand C28.
