Newsletter No. 18 / March 2018

Dear Readers,

This phi issue deals with developments that make our technology more intelligent: IFW develops an adaptive system which is able to polish dentures individually. IMPT researchers work on a sensor concept that facilitates strain and temperature measurement in vehicle tires to make road traffic more secure. Mobility is also a topic at LZH: Researchers develop a mobile laser processing system for on-site processing of particularly large and heavy components. Meanwhile, IW researchers develop a coating system that increases the durability of implants.

We hope you enjoy reading the new issue!
