After her Bachelor and Master degree in Industrial Engineering at Leibniz Universität Hannover, Dr.-Ing. Vivian Bellmann has been working from 2014 to 2019 as research associate at the Institute of Production System and Logistics (IFA). In June 2019, she wrote her doctoral thesis on the evaluation of assembly systems. Since August 2019, she is appointed Head of Research and Industry at IFA, succeeding Dr.-Ing. Matthias Schmidt.
As Assistant Head of the Institute, Dr.-Ing. Bellmann’s main research is on work organisation, design of workplaces and production processes, qualification and competence development. Apart from the supervision of research associates, for example, when submitting research proposals, she is also holding the lectures "Ergonomics" and "Production Management and Logistics".
