UKH2020 – Current developments in forming technology

IFUM | On the occasion of the Forming Colloquium Hannover (UKH) taking place on 4 and 5 March 2020, about 150 participants from industry and research will have the opportunity to discuss the most recent developments in forming technology.

On Wednesday, 4 March 2020, the event’s topic will be about bulk metal forming and on Thursday, 5 March 2020, the focus will be on sheet metal forming. The key aspects of both days will be "Innovative processes and equipment for forming technology", "Design, layout and optimisation of processes" as well as "Production of high-performance components from multi-material systems". A guided tour of the institute with live experiments and an industry session will complete the agenda.
The UKH is hosted by the Hannover Research Institute for Manufacturing Issues (Hannoversches Forschungsinstitut für Fertigungsfragen e.V., HFF) and the Institute of Forming Technology and Machines (IFUM) headed by Professor Bernd-Arno Behrens. The colloquium already takes place for the 23rd time.
The venue is the Maritim Airport Hotel Hannover. For further information and registration please refer to www.ukh2020.de.
