On Wednesday, 4 March 2020, the event’s topic will be about bulk metal forming and on Thursday, 5 March 2020, the focus will be on sheet metal forming. The key aspects of both days will be "Innovative processes and equipment for forming technology", "Design, layout and optimisation of processes" as well as "Production of high-performance components from multi-material systems". A guided tour of the institute with live experiments and an industry session will complete the agenda.
The UKH is hosted by the Hannover Research Institute for Manufacturing Issues (Hannoversches Forschungsinstitut für Fertigungsfragen e.V., HFF) and the Institute of Forming Technology and Machines (IFUM) headed by Professor Bernd-Arno Behrens. The colloquium already takes place for the 23rd time.
