Transformers

A voxel is a three-dimensional pixel and the smallest unit of information in a CT measurement. The voxel resolution indicates the edge length of the voxels in a CT measurement.
Wurtzite structure
Special hexagonal arrangement of aluminum nitride atoms in the crystal lattice. The aluminum atoms form a tight spherical packing and the nitrogen atoms fill the tetrahedral gaps.
X-ray spectroscopy
Excitation of the electrons of a sample by means of an electron beam, causing them to emit X-ray radiation specific to the respective elements, which makes it possible to determine the elemental composition.
