For the first time in more than two years, the world’s most important industrial trade fair will take place as a physical event at the exhibition center in Hannover. Numerous exhibitors will come together from May 30 to June 2, 2022.
LZH: Lasers for the digital production
The Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. (LZH) presents laser-based solutions for smart photonics.
Digital, interconnected, energy-efficient – smart production with the laser meets the requirements of tomorrow’s production. The LZH develops innovative manufacturing methods and focuses on additive manufacturing potential. The vision: smart additive, interconnected additive manufacturing with process monitoring in real-time. At the booth, the LZH will provide insights into the areas of smart agricultural technology and smart additive manufacturing.
In the field of agriculture, the LZH is researching solutions for smart agricultural technology. One important topic here is weed management. The goal of the LZH is to reduce the use of pesticides and to eliminate or damage weeds in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way using a laser. For this purpose, the LZH is conducting research on the entire process chain from the detection of plants up to making them harmless, and the scientists work with image capture and artificial intelligence. At the trade fair, the LZH will vividly demonstrate with an exhibit what agricultural technology could look like in the future.
The LZH will be exhibiting at the Hannover Messe from May 30 to June 2, 2022, at the joint stand Lower Saxony – Digitalization – of the Lower Saxony Ministry of Economics, Labor, Transport and Digitalization, hall 5, stand number D16.
IPH: Modernization of systems and machines
Modernizing and retrofitting existing systems: In digital retrofitting, machines and systems are retrofitted with modern sensor and communication technology. This is usually more cost-effective than a new acquisition and still allows the use of the old equipment in the field of industry 4.0. In addition to the cost savings, the retrofit also offers the advantage of capturing machine and process data that was previously not available. These can contribute to an increase in energy efficiency, product quality, and general process improvement.
The Institut für Integrierte Produktion Hannover (IPH) gGmbH will demonstrate at the HANNOVER stand in hall 5, C16 how such a retrofit can work. In addition, the IPH is available as a contact for many other questions regarding digital and sustainable production.
Niedersachsen ADDITIV: Your partner for 3D printing
Niedersachsen ADDITIV is the point of contact for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Lower Saxony interested in 3D printing. With professional expertise and technical knowledge, the project of LZH and IPH aims to enhance additive manufacturing in Lower Saxony.
In the “Praxis-Check 3D printing”, SMEs that want to integrate 3D printing into their production or develop it further receive support from experts – free of charge and independent of manufacturers. Furthermore, Niedersachsen ADDITIV creates networking opportunities at its own and external events. Professional training courses on-site or online round off the industry-specific and cross-industry offering.
Niedersachsen ADDITIV will be present at the joint stand Lower Saxony – Digitalization, hall 5, D16, same as the LZH.
MDZH: Digitalization on wheels!
The Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Hannover (MDZH) is presenting its new Mobile Factory, funded by the Lower Saxony Ministry of Economics, to the general public for the first time.
The Mobile Factory shows SMEs the practical benefits of digitization and networking. It combines a wide variety of technologies from the fields of production, logistics and IT security. In addition, the Mobile Factory provides an overview and shows application examples for digitalization and artificial intelligence. Based on the production of an individually configurable miniature vehicle, it presents intelligent solutions for digitization from commission to production to assembly and quality control.
The MDZH has also put together a program of lectures for visitors. Topics include energy efficiency, resource efficiency and IT security. And the MDZH’s digitization experts and AI trainers will be available to companies for discussions throughout the event.
The Center’s Mobile Factory will be on display in hall 5, D01.
