One of the founders of AKWZB, Professor Dr Hans Kurt Tönshoff, will speak about "20 years of experience exchange of the tool- and mold-making work group". The agenda also includes expert talks held by industry representatives as well as a panel discussion. Moreover, the participants will have the opportunity to visit the technology centre of Engel Deutschland GmbH in Isernhagen, a manufacturer of injection molding machines.
For 20 years, AKWZB has been uniting experts from science and industry. The industry network was founded at IPH in 1997. The members meet three times a year to exchange experiences and take part in expert talks and panel discussions. The meetings give the opportunity to learn about the most recent developments – from additive manufacturing to lightweight technologies to digitalization.
Apart from the members of the tool- and mold-making work group, experts and managers from that sector are welcome to get informed about the network without any obligation.
