This novel technology is being investigated by researchers of the Institute of Transport and Automation Technology (ITA).

IW | Up to now, aluminiferous stainless steels can only be brazed under high vacuum at very elevated temperatures – a complex and expensive process. Researchers at IW-FORTIS have developed a more efficient alternative: Special carrier gases enable brazing even under low vacuum.

PZH/LZH/IPH | Online monitoring of production processes, digital factory planning, additive manufacturing – "Mit uns digital!" offers these workshops for free to specialists and executives of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME). The digitalization campaign is sponsored by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, Germany.

IFW | Aerospace specialists from all over the world will meet at the "16th Machining Innovations Conference for Aerospace Industry" held on 23 and 24 November 2016 in Hannover, Germany. They will discuss the latest materials for airoplane construction, more efficient processes and innovative machine tools.

PZH/LZH/IPH | On Saturday, 12 November 2016, the Leibniz Universität Hannover will be organizing a "Night Out With Science" – and entertainment. Starting at 6 p.m., the institutes and laboratories will open their doors.
