IW | “Different appearances of metal“: This is the title of a photo exhibition in East Friesland, Germany, organized by the Institute of Materials Science (IW) of Leibniz Universität Hannover. The pictures have been created by five employees working in the metallography sector of the Hannover Centre for Production Technology (PZH).
IFUM | On the occasion of the 22nd Forming Colloquium Hannover (Umformtechnisches Kolloquium Hannover, UKH), specialists from fields related to research, production and management will meet on 15 and 16 March 2017 under the motto “Innovation Potential in Forming Technology“ to discuss recent developments and future challenges related to forming technology.
PZH | Climate-neutral production? Life-cycle management of resources modelled on nature’s processes? Michael Hetzer, Managing Director of elobau sensor technology, and Professor Michael Braungart, initiator of the cradle-to-cradle principle, will present their trendsetting ideas to researchers at PZH.
PZH/LZH/IPH | Online monitoring of production processes, digital factory planning, additive manufacturing – “Mit uns digital!” offers these workshops for free to specialists and executives of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME). The digitalization campaign is sponsored by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, Germany.
IFW | Aerospace specialists from all over the world will meet at the “16th Machining Innovations Conference for Aerospace Industry” held on 23 and 24 November 2016 in Hannover, Germany. They will discuss the latest materials for airoplane construction, more efficient processes and innovative machine tools.

Starting at 6 p.m., the institutes and laboratories will open their doors. The production technology will be presenting itself in the Welfenschloss and in the Hannover Centre for Production Technology (PZH).
