PhoenixD | The Cluster of Excellence PhoenixD cluster (Photonics Optics Engineering – Innovation Across Disciplines) receives 52 million euros in federal and state funding. IPH | How can drones fly autonomously across a factory? This was the research topic of Christian Lamping’s Master thesis. His promising and innovative concept was honoured with the IPH Future Award 2019.

IPH | Change of management at IPH: Mareile Kriwall takes over the management in the field of process technology on 1 November 2019. The 34-year old mechanical engineer is responsible for ten staff members and many research projects and industrial contracts.

IMPT | From research to industry: With the “Magnetic Information Platform”, three researchers of the Institute of Micro Production Technology (IMPT) founded their own company, which is sponsored with about 725,000 euros from the EXIST programme.

IFW | One of the highest prizes awarded to young researchers within the field of production engineering goes to Dr.-Ing. Benjamin Bergmann of the Institute of Production Engineering and Machine Tools (IFW).
