PZH | Never-ending traffic jams: Is this the future of cars in urban areas? How can cyclists survive the ever-growing traffic chaos? On 2 November 2017 at the Hannover Centre for Production Technology, the “BIKES vs CARS” film club poses questions and presents views from our region and from metropolitan cities around the world.
IPH | Developing new ideas away from the desk: The Idea Lab created at the Institut für Integrierte Produktion Hannover (IPH) gGmbH is meant as a retreat that supports reflection and inspiration, but also facilitates collaborative team work.
IPH | “The Future of Tool Making” – this is the motto of the tool- and mold-making work group (AKWZB) celebrating the 20th anniversary. The event is scheduled for the 27 September 2017 at the Institut für Integrierte Produktion Hannover (IPH) gGmbH.
match | Whether sensors, pacemakers or clockworks: Wherever high-precision part assembly is indispensable, conventional robots will reach their limits. For research purposes, the Institute of Assembly Technology (match) has therefore installed a flexible high-precision assembly cell.
ITA | This year, it was the fourth summer workshop in St Petersburg organized by the Institute of Transport and Automation Technology (ITA). Students from Hanover visited their partner institute at Saint Petersburg State Polytechnic University and explored the City of the Tsars.
IFA/IPH | In October, professionals and managerial staff will have the opportunity to learn the basics of how to build a new factory or how to expand or reorganise their existing one. In the practical seminar “Factory Planning“, experts will impart comprehensive knowledge which can be applied by the workshop participants immediately.
IPH/PZH | A bus rebuilt as factory is presently touring across Lower Saxony and Bremen. The goal: getting small enterprises informed on Industry 4.0. The free roadshows are organized by “Mit uns digital!”. Until the end of 2017, there will be another eleven tours.
